## These pages explain; they don't advise

Everything here describes how reverse mortgages, and the choices next to them, apply to homes in Mississauga. Your own circumstances are not known to these pages, so nothing on them is legal, tax or financial advice for you. Before any reverse mortgage is signed, a lawyer who works only for you goes through it with you.

## Every number has a date for a reason

Lenders change rates, the City changes its programs, and home prices move month to month. That is why each figure is shown with its source and the day it was checked. The figure that finally matters is the one in a lender's written offer, after that lender has appraised your home.

## A calculator result is not a yes

The calculator, the fit check and the estimate form all give estimates. Approval comes only from a lender, once it has reviewed your application and your home.

Sources such as the City of Mississauga, the Region of Peel, the Government of Ontario and the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board are linked so you can check the numbers yourself. The brokerage has no control over what those websites publish.
